The Foresters Arms is a Grade II listed property, located in the picturesque village of Carlton-in-Coverdale in the North Yorkshire Dales. Nestled under the peaks of Roova Crags and Penhill, Carlton is only six miles from Leyburn and is set within The Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Named after the Foresters Friendly Society, this 250-year-old inn is a welcome rest for the weary traveller. It is convenient for many local attractions in the Dales and there are excellent walks in the beautiful countryside around Carlton. We are also on the Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way with several routes that will definitely help keep you fit!
We are accepting bookings for our three beautiful rooms from 8th August 2022, under new management. We accept single night stays Monday to Thursday. Minimum 2 night bookings Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Dogs are permitted in the Double and Twin rooms. However, the King room is pet free. Cost of pet is £10.00 per visit.
Our rooms all feature 32inch wall mounted tv's. Tea and coffee making facilities. Underfloor heating. Fresh milk in your mini fridge, and delicious home cooked Yorkshire breakfast.
