The Foresters Arms is a Grade II listed property, located in the picturesque village of Carlton-in-Coverdale in the North Yorkshire Dales. Nestled under the peaks of Roova Crags and Penhill, Carlton is only six miles from Leyburn and is set within The Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Named after the Foresters Friendly Society, this 250-year-old inn is a welcome rest for the weary traveler. It is convenient for many local attractions in the Dales and there are excellent walks in the beautiful countryside around Carlton. We are also on the Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way with several routes that will definitely help keep you fit!
